So, Why Join?

  • The Association of Home Information Pack Providers (AHIPP) has become a powerful and respected voice for HIP providers. AHIPP participates in all Government stakeholder engagements and works with all the other stakeholders involved in the home buying and selling process.
  • AHIPP is regularly invited to respond to consultation documents from Government and other bodies. Responses reflect the views and interests of all AHIPP members.
  • AHIPP operates through working groups to formulate policy positions and the strategies and tactics for delivering those policies. Your voice really does count in AHIPP.
  • AHIPP will help shape the future of home buying and selling and 1st August is the start, not the destination. Topics that are already under discussion include the future re-mandation of the Home Condition Report and the concept of the ‘Exchange ready’ HIP. This is in addition to work that is already in progress in respect of searches and leasehold title.
  • AHIPP is committed to its members and their long term commercial success.
  • AHIPP members have found that it is a positive experience to be involved with other businesses that are committed to making HIPs work to their full potential.
  • AHIPP is an organisation that is there to answer questions for its members. If we do not know the answer, we will find someone that does.
  • AHIPP has become a place for members to network with organisations involved in all the different industries that touch the home buying and selling process. A number of members have found business solutions from other members, saving investment costs and paying for the membership fee many times over.
  • AHIPP is the author and sponsor of the HIP code. It is AHIPP and its members that will issue future revisions to the HIP code.
  • AHIPP offers its members access to a register of Home Inspectors and Domestic Energy Assessors nationwide.
  • AHIPP is a source of information and communication that is entirely unique. Weekly e-newsletters, regular e-mail updates, weekly political updates and daily media reports are all provided routinely. Members are kept appraised of all developments and matters related to HIPs as they happen.
